urrent position: Full Professor
Since March 1998, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Engineering Projects at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). Since September 2011, she has also been a researcher at the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Management (INGENIO), a joint research institute of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and UPV.
Academic and Research Experience
She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (2000) and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (1992). She teaches Engineering Projects and Advanced Decision-Making Tools. She has co-supervised six PhD dissertations.

Research Interests
Applications of Multicriteria Decision-Making techniques (MCDM/MCDA) to business and institutional decision-making. She is an expert in the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Analytic Network Process (ANP). Her research focuses on decision-making in complex environments, participatory decision-making, and governance.
She has been Full Professor at UPV and teaching at the School of Industrial Engineering since 1998. She is Principal Investigator at INGENIO (CSIC–UPV). Her main research line focuses on applying AHP and ANP methodologies to develop indicators that support evaluation and decision-making in participatory processes.

She leads a research group and has consolidated a strong research line with significant scientific output in high-quality journals, numerous publicly and privately funded research and knowledge-transfer projects, and the successful development of several research careers. She is currently the most cited European
author in the field of the Analytic Network Process.
She has completed three recognized research periods. Since 2011, she has undertaken four teaching stays and two research stays, including at the University of Cassino (Italy) in 2013 and Fraunhofer ISI, Karlsruhe (Germany) in 2021, as well as several faculty mobility actions in the USA, Italy, and Germany.

Additional projects supported strategic decision-making in public administrations for urban development, regional tourism planning, the naval and food industries, and university strategic planning.
She has published 42 peer-reviewed articles in indexed journals. Four rank 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 5th in their respective fields, with a total of 710 citations (WoS) and an h-index of 17 (December 2021).
Societal Contributions
In collaboration with the private sector, she led a research project that resulted in a €180,000 agreement with Tasaciones Bienes Mediterráneo S.A., developing a market study optimization methodology and an AHP-based pricing decision system still in use today.
In the field of Social Responsibility, she led a consultancy project for the Directorate-General for Innovation of the Generalitat Valenciana, Towards a Responsible Innovation Model in the Valencian Community, contributing to the integration of social development and environmental protection dimensions into the RIS3 strategy.
She also led a study with REDIT (2021) on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) in the Valencian network of Technological Institutes, highlighting the need to incorporate responsible practices into innovation activities
In 2021, she signed a consultancy agreement as PI with the Argentine Ministry of Education, through the Inter-American Development Bank, to deliver a Responsible Business Innovation training program for 100 young entrepreneurs during 2022–2023.
Total funding obtained as PI from contracts and agreements amounts to €315,538.
